Job Description

Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and proactive SharePoint / Teams Administrator to join our IT Infrastructure team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day management, support, configuration, and optimization of our SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, and Power Automate environments. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring seamless collaboration across our 12 office locations, providing end-user support, conducting training sessions, and leading initiatives such as file migrations and data management projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • SharePoint, Teams & Power Automate Administration:
    • Manage, configure, and optimize SharePoint sites, document libraries, Microsoft Teams channels, and Power Automate workflows.
    • Design, implement, and maintain automated processes to streamline business operations.
    • Ensure system integrity, security, and compliance with company policies.
    • Oversee user access permissions, group policies, site structure, and flow configurations.
  • User Support & Training:
    • Provide day-to-day support for internal teams, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring smooth operation.
    • Develop and deliver training materials, workshops, and documentation for end-users on SharePoint, Teams, and Power Automate.
    • Act as the primary point of contact for SharePoint, Teams, and Power Automate-related inquiries.
  • Project Management:
    • Lead and support projects including data/file migrations, SharePoint site redesigns, Teams rollouts, and automation initiatives.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver tailored solutions.
  • Data Governance:
    • Assist in maintaining global taxonomies, metadata structures, and data classifications.
    • Ensure data compliance with organizational standards and regulatory requirements.
    • Implement best practices for document management, data retention, and process automation.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience in SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams, and Power Automate administration.
  • Strong understanding of Office 365 ecosystem, Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps), and OneDrive.
  • Knowledge of data governance, taxonomy management, and data classification standards.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills and experience supporting end-users.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to deliver effective training.
  • Project management experience is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Microsoft 365 Certified: Teams Administrator Associate, SharePoint Administrator, or Power Platform Fundamentals.
  • Experience with file migration tools (e.g., ShareGate, or similar).
  • Familiarity with security frameworks and compliance standards.
