- Provide dedicated support and subject matter expertise to the U.S. legal function on a broad range of matters with a focus on healthcare laws and regulations relating to digital health and the pharmacy sector, including state pharmacy laws, CMS guidelines, telemedicine and relevant advisory opinions.
- Advise internal business partners on legal risk affecting the business and its strategies and collaborate on strategies to best manage identified risks.
- Maintain a foundational understanding and current awareness of evolving laws, regulations and industry guidance relevant to the pharmacy and digital health industry that may impact the business, including healthcare compliance and pharmacy accreditations.
- Draft, review and negotiate various commercial contracts, including services agreements, payor agreements, vendor agreements and other industry-related agreements such as engagements with PBMs and pharmaceutical manufacturers. Ensure that contracting and negotiations comply with applicable legal and regulatory requirements while aligning with business objectives.
- Partner with business functions such as Product, Regulatory Affairs, Clinical and Marketing to ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory and legal requirements.
- Build and operationalize core legal processes and implement legal operation tools.
- Identify and support the development of training materials and policy and procedure documents on relevant legal and business issues.
- Support the domestic and international expansion of the company.
- Report to the U.S. General Counsel to escalate business and legal issues as appropriate and support in managing outside counsel relationships on legal matters.
- 5-7 years of general legal experience at a law firm or in-house practicing in the pharmacy and/or digital health industry. Previous in-house experience will be an asset.
- Prior experience and familiarity with the legal and regulatory matters relevant to a pharmacy business is required. Experience with digital health and/or healthcare industries and related areas such as reimbursement, licensure and credentialing matters will be an asset.
- General knowledge of business functions and processes at a pharmacy and/or digital health company, with a working understanding and ability to identify, assess risk and problem solve for legal issues relevant to this business.

- Highly organized and detail oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously against tight timelines in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
This is a remote position.
