Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Personal Injury Paralegal to join our legal team. This individual will play a key role in supporting attorneys throughout all phases of personal injury litigation from case inception to trial. This paralegal will play a pivotal role in building compelling cases and making sure no detail is overlooked. The ideal candidate is proactive, thorough, and able to manage multiple cases in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision. Core Responsibilities:
- Assist attorneys in all aspects of personal injury case management.
- Assist in summarizing case details and preparing comprehensive reports for attorneys.
- Conduct thorough research, investigate facts, and aid in developing legal arguments and motions.
- Draft essential legal documents, including meet and confer letters, motions to compel, and discovery responses.
- Prepare legal documents for courts, ensuring all submissions are accurate and timely.
- Timely and accurately e-file legal documents with federal and state courts, while strictly abiding by any local rules and guidelines.
- Organize and archive case documents, including Bates stamping, and maintain detailed records.
- Schedule depositions, mediations, hearings, and other key case events.
- Track deadlines and ensure timely filing of court documents and discovery responses.
- Prepare and organize various legal documents, such as pleadings, subpoenas, discovery requests and responses, briefs, and any trial-related documents, including witness lists, exhibits lists, jury instructions, and any necessary trial binders.
- Compile and maintain case files, track changes in the legal framework, and prepare privilege logs as needed.
Minimum Requirements:
Education/Certifications
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
- Paralegal Certification; preferred
Experience
- A minimum of 5 years of Personal Injury (Plaintiff) experience, required
- Litigation experience required
- Discovery Drafting experience required

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to facilitate effective interaction with clients, attorneys, medical providers, and experts.
- Strong research skills to gather and analyze information relevant to personal injury cases.
- Sharp attention to detail to ensure all documentation and information is accurate and complete.
- Proficient organizational skills to effectively manage a large case load, multiple deadlines, and incoming documents.
- Thorough understanding of relevant medical terminology in personal injury cases and e-filing procedures for state and federal court.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal software programs, including case management and document management tools
- Ability to empathize and provide support to clients who have been catastrophically injured and are dealing with physical and emotional trauma.
- Problem-solving skills to identify and resolve issues that may arise during the case process or help move case forward.
- Bachelor’s degree in Paralegal Studies or a related field, or a paralegal certificate, preferred
- and staff.
- Quick learner and adaptable to new challenges.
