§ Salary: $50,000 to $65,000 Annually (Plus comprehensive health benefits, 401(k) retirement planning, and eligibility for merit-based increases)

§ Schedule: Full-time, Direct-Hire, Monday–Friday (In-person)

§ Duties:

The incoming Litigation Assistant will function as a vital administrative engine for the firm’s trial attorneys, facilitating the management of active case dockets from inception through resolution. This role demands a high degree of organizational precision and the ability to navigate the rigorous demands of multi-jurisdictional litigation.


Core responsibilities include:

⨖ Orchestrating the preparation, formatting, and proofreading of complex legal pleadings, motions, and discovery demands for filing in state and federal courts.

⨖ Managing the lifecycle of case files by maintaining meticulous electronic and physical records to ensure real-time access to critical evidence and correspondence.

⨖ Safeguarding the firm’s litigation calendar by tracking court-mandated deadlines, hearing dates, and statute of limitations milestones.

⨖ Coordinating the logistics for depositions, mediations, and trial proceedings, including the scheduling of court reporters and the assembly of comprehensive exhibit binders.

⨖ Liaising professionally with court personnel, opposing counsel, and expert witnesses to facilitate the smooth progression of litigation phases.

⨖ Assisting in the preparation of materials for trial, including the organization of document productions and the synthesis of case-related data.

⨖ Performing essential administrative functions such as time entry and document processing to support the efficient operation of the litigation department.§ Qualifications


Candidates must demonstrate the intellectual rigor and professional maturity required to thrive in a fast-paced, advocacy-driven environment.

⨖ Completion of a Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited four-year institution with a distinguished academic record.

⨖ Advanced proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite, with a specific emphasis on professional document formatting in Word and calendar management in Outlook.

⨖ Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, characterized by a graduate-level command of grammar and professional etiquette.

⨖ Proven ability to manage a high volume of time-sensitive tasks with unwavering attention to detail and accuracy.
