We are seeking an experienced and motivated Associate General Counsel to join our small, but robust legal department. The ideal candidate will have 2–4 years of experience practicing law, preferably with exposure to healthcare, corporate transactions, and/or real estate. This role will support a wide range of legal matters, including mergers and acquisitions, contract negotiation and review, regulatory compliance, and general corporate governance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of contracts, including vendor agreements, NDAs, and service contracts
  • Support mergers, acquisitions, and other strategic transactions, including due diligence and document management as well drafting company agreements, leases, and purchase agreements
  • Advise internal stakeholders on healthcare regulatory matters and compliance best practices
  • Assist in real estate transactions, including leases, acquisitions, and related agreements
  • Provide general legal counsel and risk assessment for business operations
  • Collaborate with external counsel and cross-functional departments to ensure timely, effective legal support


Qualifications

Qualifications

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
  • Preferably licensed to practice law in Texas (or eligible for admission)
  • 2–4 years of relevant experience in a law firm or in-house legal department
  • Strong knowledge of corporate and transactional law; healthcare experience is a plus
  • Exceptional writing, negotiation, and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment with sound judgment and attention to detail
  • Views problems as opportunities for growth and capable of independently forming solutions to challenges
