Job Description

At Ripple, we’re building a world where value moves like information does today. It’s big, it’s bold, and we’re already doing it. Through our crypto solutions for financial institutions, businesses, governments and developers, we are improving the global financial system and creating greater economic fairness and opportunity for more people, in more places around the world. And we get to do the best work of our career and grow our skills surrounded by colleagues who have our backs.

If you’re ready to see your impact and unlock incredible career growth opportunities, join us, and build real world value.

Are you a hardworking and self-motivated transactional lawyer looking to make a meaningful impact in the fintech world? Ripple Labs Inc. is seeking a skilled Corporate Counsel to join our growing and agile legal team to efficiently manage our vendor contracts and to support our wide range of product lines, including payments, custody, and stablecoin. You will report directly to Ripple’s Deputy General Counsel and play a key role in our mission to implement innovative financial solutions successfully!

What You'll Do:
  • One of your primary roles will be to manage our increasing number of vendor agreements and to think of ways to streamline the process.
  • Assist the Company’s sales and business development teams with various commercial transactions. This includes drafting and negotiating term sheets and definitive documentation. You will also manage the deal process.
  • Manage and budget for external advisors engaged on such projects.
  • Assist with other commercial or corporate matters as needed.

What We're Looking For:
  • J.D. from a top-tier law school with strong academic credentials.
  • A minimum of 7 years of practice, ideally as a corporate attorney at a major law firm and at a fintech startup.
  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally with Ripple’s product, marketing, engineering, security, tax, and finance teams to ensure agreements align with internal corporate policies and processes.
  • Outstanding problem-solving skills, judgment, communication, and interpersonal abilities.
  • Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced environment, meet tight deadlines, and act decisively.
  • Competence in presenting complex issues clearly and concisely, providing succinct, practical, and effective legal advice.
