This role will be based in our Washington, D.C. office, on an in-office basis. Regular in-office presence is required. This role reports to the Litigation Practice Manager.
Position Summary
The Litigation Project Assistant will provide comprehensive support to our rapidly growing Litigation practice, working closely with case teams to ensure the efficient management of litigation matters. This role is ideal for candidates considering law school or a similar professional graduate program, and requires a two-year commitment to GT. Flexibility to work overtime as needed is essential.
Key Responsibilities
Work directly with case teams to proof and finalize court documents
Collaborate with vendors to prepare document productions in response to client requests
Draft routine correspondence and discovery requests to opposing parties
Maintain and update client case and document databases
Perform basic document review and research
Support trial preparation efforts, including creating trial notebooks, organizing exhibits, working with witness schedules, and maintaining trial calendars
Review incoming discovery materials and provide analysis as requested by case teams
Assist with practice department activities and project work assignments as needed
Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned

Education & Prior Experience
Bachelor’s degree required
Strong desire to work in the legal profession or related industry preferred
Experience with basic research tools and ability to apply research skills in a legal context
Technology
Proficiency with Windows-based software and Microsoft Office Suite applications, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook
Exceptional computer skills and ability to learn new software applications quickly
The expected pay range for this position is:
$ 31.87 to $ 34.49 Per hour
Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience, location, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
