Paralegal

GMF is seeking a Paralegal to become part of our team! The Legal Assistant will provide executive-level support to all corporate business unit leaders and Department Heads. The successful candidate will be self-motivated, organized, an effective multi-tasker, and thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment!

 

Responsibilities:

 

• Manage calendars including daily, weekly, and monthly agendas with real-time updates and changes
• Alleviate the mental load of the day-to-day logistics by executing
• Provide daily agendas along with needed printouts and itineraries
• Communicate directives received and given to Executives and Department Heads on a daily basis
• Organize and maintain project documents in electronic filing systems
  
• Keep industry-related reference libraries, as well as internal policies and procedures up to date and organized
  
• Conduct internal audits and timely update leadership on results
• Renewing and maintaining business entity documents and licensures, as needed
  
• Other duties as assigned

 

Requirements:

 

• Bachelor’s Degree required
• Minimum 3-5 years of paralegal experience required
  
• Outstanding oral and written communication skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Proficiency in Microsoft suite of applications
• Ability to quickly compile and organize information and documents
• Working knowledge of legal terminology (emphasis construction law preferred, but not required)
• Ability to handle and maintain time-sensitive and confidential materials
• Critical thinking
  
• Ability to handle heavy workload

 

Salary:

 

• $50,000 - $60,000/year
• Dependent upon experience
• Eligible for performance bonuses
