Join an innovative and rapidly growing national Design, Engineering, and Consulting firm! WSB is seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Corporate Counsel to help support the legal and compliance operations of our dynamic and expanding team of over 1,400 professionals across multiple states.

As Corporate Counsel, you’ll work closely with senior leaders and project managers, taking on a diverse range of legal responsibilities in an organization on the rise. Reporting directly to the Vice President and General Counsel, you’ll play a critical role in ensuring our legal and compliance operations run smoothly as we continue to grow.

What You’ll Do:

• Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of contracts, including project contracts, client master agreements, subconsultant and subcontractor agreements, confidentiality and non-disclosure agreements, and vendor contracts.
• Oversee and manage the firm’s licensing registrations and disclosure reporting requirements, ensuring compliance with state and federal laws and regulations.
• Act as a liaison with internal teams and insurance brokers to manage insurance coverage requirements and ensure compliance.
• Assist in managing post-acquisition integration issues and legal matters related to M&A activity.
• Handle pre-litigation disputes, claims, and loss-prevention matters to mitigate potential risks.
• Advise senior leadership on corporate governance and compliance matters, contributing to the firm’s continued success and strategic growth.

What You’ll Bring:

• JD from an accredited law school.
• Bar membership in good standing.
• 3-5 years of legal experience, ideally with at least two years in a law firm.
• Proven ability to manage a variety of legal matters with confidence and efficiency.
• A keen eye for detail, with exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities, with the capacity to adapt to evolving priorities in a fast-paced environment.
