Culmen International is seeking a Contract Specialist/Legal Director for a future Health and Human Services opportunity.
The Contract Specialist/Legal Director is responsible for preparing, negotiating, and reviewing company contracts. They ensure compliance with legal requirements, analyze potential risks, and maintain organized records.
- Negotiate contract terms with internal and external business partners.
- Review and update existing contracts.
- Design standardized language and guidelines for contracts.
- Identify potential risks contract changes may pose to the organization.
- Collaborate with procurement, legal, and human resources teams to ensure contracts' compliance.
- Ensure all deadlines and conditions described on contracts are met.
- Maintain an organized system of physical and digital records.
- Share contract processes, conditions, and details with management, business partners and employees as needed.
- Review contracts for accuracy and resolve discrepancies in line with company rules and guidelines.
- Liaise between parties regarding contract development, negotiations regarding terms and conditions, and drafting and revising changes as required.
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field
- Minimum of (2) years experience as a Contract Administrator, Contract Manager, or relevant role
- Must be at least 21 years of age at the time of hire.
- Proficiency in English and Spanish (verbal and written) preferred.
- Possess a valid Driver’s License.
- Possess a clear Tuberculosis test.
- Ability to successfully clear a background check.
- Ability to successfully clear a drug screening.
- Provide immunization documentation for Tdap, Varicella, MMR, Hepatitis A and B, Varicella.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. for any employer.
