Gordon & Partners – Litigation Paralegal – Plantation, FL

Gordon & Partners is a 30+ year established law firm seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to work for our Personal Injury department. The ideal candidate will have strong, hands-on litigation experience in personal injury cases and the ability to manage a high-volume caseload from filing suit through trial. This role requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage personal injury cases through all phases of litigation, including discovery, and trial preparation
  • Draft, review, and file legal documents such as complaints, motions, subpoenas, discovery requests, and responses
  • Coordinate and track deadlines, court filings, and case calendars
  • Communicate with clients, insurance adjusters, medical providers, and opposing counsel
  • Assist attorneys with trial preparation, including preparing exhibits, witness lists, and trial binders
  • Summarize medical records, bills, depositions, and discovery materials
  • Coordinate depositions, mediations, and hearings
  • Maintain and organize case files (electronic and physical)
  • Assist with settlement documentation and disbursements

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2+ years of litigation paralegal experience in personal injury (required)
  • Strong knowledge of state and federal court rules and procedures
  • Proven ability to handle a high-volume caseload independently
  • Experience drafting litigation documents and managing discovery
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel)
  • Experience with Aderant Total Office or similar case management software is a plus
  • Paralegal certificate or equivalent experience preferred
