DutiesOMB is seeking a detailee to work with its management team, preferably for a 6 month rotation. The detailee would work on diverse issues with OMB's management offices, including the Office of Federal Financial Management, the Office of Federal Procurement Policy, the Made in America Office, the Office of the Federal Chief Information Officer, and the Performance and Personnel Management Office. You would have opportunities to work on a wide variety of legal matters, including OMB's proposed rulemaking to revise the Government-wide Uniform Guidance for grants, cooperative agreements, and other forms of financial assistance; the Revolutionary FAR Overhaul; other Government-wide circulars, memoranda, guidance, and policies; efforts related to preventing fraud and improper payments; implementation of Made in America laws and policies; real property issues; and Government-wide technology and cybersecurity policies. This detail will offer wide and substantive experience on diverse legal matters, which will benefit both the detailee and their home agency. A detail with OMB provides an enriching experience to individuals, who return to their respective agencies with a deeper understanding of OMB's management offices within the Executive Office of the President.
Salary- $121,785 - $197,200/year

GRADE REQUIREMENT: This is NOT a promotion. Applicant MUST currently be at the grade level advertised.
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Applicants must have a minimum of one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility comparable to the next lower grade or comparable pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private sector.
For the GS-13: Must currently hold a GS-13 grade level or comparable pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience related to the duties listed in this announcement.
For the GS-14: Must currently hold a GS-14 grade level or comparable pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience related to the duties listed in this announcement.
For the GS-15: Must currently hold a GS-15 grade level or comparable pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience related to the duties listed in this announcement.
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service program (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
