
The Associate Legal Counsel will play a key role in supporting the WME Group business on a broad range of matters, including but not limited to, commercial contracting and corporate governance matters. This position will be responsible for drafting, reviewing, and negotiating vendor agreements and NDAs, as well as managing corporate secretarial tasks across multiple jurisdictions. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, a team player, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced, international environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Commercial Contracts & NDAs
Draft, review, and negotiate a broad range of commercial contracts, including vendor agreements, service agreements, and NDAs. Provide pragmatic legal advice to business teams to support timely and risk-appropriate contracting. Maintain and improve contract templates and playbooks to promote efficiency and consistency.
2. Corporate Secretarial & Governance
Manage and coordinate corporate governance matters for group entities, including quarterly and annual filings, director appointments and removals, maintenance of structure charts for internal purposes and to be provided externally as requested, and maintenance of statutory and internal records. Liaise with local counsel in and corporate secretaries across multiple jurisdictions to ensure compliance with applicable corporate requirements.
3. Legal Operations & Risk Management
Help implement processes and systems to streamline contract lifecycle management and corporate recordkeeping. Identify legal and compliance risks and escalate where necessary. Support internal audits, compliance reviews, and other corporate initiatives as needed.
Qualifications:
Qualified lawyer (e.g., JD, LLM) with current legal practicing certification in at least one jurisdiction. 2 – 5 years of relevant legal experience, ideally with a mix of law firm and in-house roles. Strong experience with commercial contracts. Excellent organizational and communication skills, with a strong attention to detail. Comfortable working independently and managing competing priorities. Prior experience in the media, entertainment, or technology sector is a plus.

Hiring pay rates are based on a number of factors, including location and may vary depending on job-related qualifications, knowledge, skills and experience.
