Position Summary:
The Attorney Oversight Manager is responsible for monitoring Selene’s attorney network to ensure attorney firms are completing foreclosure activities accurately and timely, according to Selene, investor/insurer, state, and regulatory guidelines while minimizing financial losses to the company.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Responsible for timely processing of activities and responsiveness of alerts to ensure attorney firms are managing files according to Selene’s directives.
Minimize losses through management of Attorney Firms and third party vendors to ensure foreclosure processes are consistently progressing.
Handles special projects and reporting required by investors.
Identifies compliance issues as they arise and provide the appropriate feedback to Attorney Firms and Selene Management.
Responds to routine inquiries from clients and attorneys.
Provides support and high service levels to all clients, Attorney Firms and internal team members.
Understands and manages legal processes for bankruptcy and foreclose files in various states.
Ensures compliance with servicing agreements, investor requirements, federal and state laws.
Stays informed of industry changes related to servicing activities.
Prepares reports and attends aged asset calls with the Attorney Firms.
Conduct quarterly calls or as needed with firms to discuss issues, trends and should be bidirectional conversation. The results of the call are disseminated to default Management.
Organize and conduct monthly and quarterly conference calls with Selene Management members.
Prepare and send Attorney Firms communication on demand.
Assist business leaders with Attorney Firms non-performance issues and manage the Performance Improvement Plan process or recommend other remedies such as eliminating the usage of the firm. This includes tracking and documenting resolutions.
Assist Vendor Management Oversight (VMO) as needed.
Participate in Attorney Firms audits.
Ensure attorney scorecards are generated and review for distribution no later than the 15th of each month.
Manage and provide responses to the Attorney Firm’s inquires.
Manage Attorney scorecard rebuttal process
Ad hoc Attorney Firms survey for state regulations. Document responses and provide consumable / readable format.

Education/Experience
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
Associate's degree (A.A.) preferred.
Minimum Five years' related experience and/or training required.
Computer Skills:
Working knowledge of and experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook). Previous experience with MSP, Black Knight/LPS and Fiserv preferred.
