Dentons US LLP See More Job Openings by This EmployerDentons US LLP seeks a highly motivated and organized Legal Administrative Assistant to provide comprehensive support to a team of attorneys in our Litigation practice. This dynamic role offers the opportunity to work on various legal matters and contribute directly to the success of our firm. This is a hybrid role, 3 days in office and 2 days remote.
Responsibilities
- Manage core legal secretarial and administrative tasks, including conflict checks, client matter opening, electronic approvals, and administrative duties like travel arrangements, calendaring, deposition coordination, and conference room reservations.
- Creating and editing complex documents, spreadsheets and presentations.
- Troubleshoot documents. Answer questions and provide technical help when required.
- Clean-up and format scanned documents. Proofread work for accuracy.
- Responsible for document preparation, editing, file maintenance and monthly client billing/pro fomas.
- File electronic court filings, pleadings and process mail.
- Handles administrative confidential/sensitive firm and/or client information
- Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure all requests are completed successfully and meet the needs of both attorneys and the firm.
- These duties may be ongoing or ad-hoc in nature
Experience & Qualifications
- The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 5-10 years of litigation experience in a mid to large sized law firm and be proficient in legal secretarial and administrative tasks
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook), Intapp, iManage, Chrome River and a solid ability to learn and adapt to new software programs are essential.
- Possess exceptional organizational skills, prioritize effectively, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Discretion and a commitment to confidentiality are paramount.
- Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills allow you to build strong relationships with attorneys, clients, and colleagues.
- The candidate must work independently with some supervision and occasional overtime.
- Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- Notary a plus.
Salary
New York Only DOE: $90,000 - $105,000
