Traub Lieberman is seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal with 35 years of insurance defense experience to join our Red Bank, New Jersey office. This role involves managing cases through all stages of litigation, including preparing medical chronologies and billing spreadsheets, organizing demand packages, conducting background checks, drafting motions and discovery, identifying and tracking non-parties, preparing deposition/mediation/trial materials, reviewing depositions for defense arguments, processing subpoenas and public records requests, coordinating with experts, and maintaining lien updates.

The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable taking ownership of case management in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare medical chronologies and billing spreadsheets.
  • Intake and organize initial demand packages for attorney review.
  • Conduct background checks (social media, criminal, etc.).
  • Draft motions, pleadings, and discovery requests/responses.
  • Identify and log all non-parties (insureds, providers, employers, facilities).
  • Prepare deposition, mediation, and trial materials.
  • Review depositions for defense arguments and new subpoena targets.
  • Process public records requests, document demands, RFAs, and medical authorizations.
  • Coordinate with experts, provide case materials, and summarize conferences.
  • Track and update lien information throughout the case.
  • Collaborate closely with attorneys on case strategy and preparation.
Qualifications
  • Working knowledge of PRRs, NPNP, Subpoena Duces Tecum, CNO/Authorizations, and RFCs.
  • Proficient in preparing medical chronologies and discovery demands.
  • Paralegal certification required; defense litigation experience preferred.
  • Skilled at managing multiple cases and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Highly professional, organized, and able to work independently or collaboratively.
Compensation

The expected salary range for this position is $63,000 - $68,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
