Location: Cleveland, OH
Work Arrangement: Hybrid (3 days in-office / 2 days remote)

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Reports To: Attorneys


Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Paralegal to support attorneys through all phases of litigation. This hybrid role is based in our Cleveland office and offers a balance of in-office collaboration and remote flexibility.


This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced legal environment and enjoys hands-on involvement in case preparation, organization, and team collaboration.


What You’ll Do
  • Communicate with clients, experts, opposing counsel, and co-defense counsel
  • Review, organize, and manage incoming discovery materials
  • Draft discovery requests, responses, and related correspondence
  • Prepare document productions and summarize records, transcripts, and discovery
  • Create page-and-line deposition summaries
  • Assist with case strategy and participate in team meetings and roundtables
  • Conduct background research on parties involved in litigation
  • Organize and maintain electronic and physical case files
  • Prepare subpoenas, authorizations, exhibit lists, and trial exhibits
  • Coordinate with third-party vendors (e.g., court reporters, record retrieval services)
  • Handle electronic court filings and monitor deadlines to ensure compliance

What We’re Looking For

  • Associate’s Degree with a Paralegal Certificate or Bachelor’s Degree
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Adobe Acrobat
  • Excellent organizational, writing, and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • High attention to detail and professionalism
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications
  • Ohio Notary certification
  • Prior litigation or insurance defense experience
Salary Description
starting at $65,000 annually
