Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Paralegal to support attorneys through all phases of litigation. This hybrid role is based in our Cleveland office and offers a balance of in-office collaboration and remote flexibility.
This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced legal environment and enjoys hands-on involvement in case preparation, organization, and team collaboration.
What You’ll Do
- Communicate with clients, experts, opposing counsel, and co-defense counsel
- Review, organize, and manage incoming discovery materials
- Draft discovery requests, responses, and related correspondence
- Prepare document productions and summarize records, transcripts, and discovery
- Create page-and-line deposition summaries
- Assist with case strategy and participate in team meetings and roundtables
- Conduct background research on parties involved in litigation
- Organize and maintain electronic and physical case files
- Prepare subpoenas, authorizations, exhibit lists, and trial exhibits
- Coordinate with third-party vendors (e.g., court reporters, record retrieval services)
- Handle electronic court filings and monitor deadlines to ensure compliance
- Hybrid work schedule with built-in flexibility (3/2 model)

What We’re Looking For
- Associate’s Degree with a Paralegal Certificate or Bachelor’s Degree
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Adobe Acrobat
- Excellent organizational, writing, and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- High attention to detail and professionalism
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Ohio Notary certification
- Prior litigation or insurance defense experience
- $65,000 - $70,000/year
