POSITION TITLE: Criminal Charging Clerk
LOCATION: Oklahoma City – Oklahoma County
STATUS: Full-Time, Immediate Opening
CLOSING: Open Until Filled
SALARY: Starting yearly salary is $ 30,000.00. There is a 90-day review with a after one (1) year potential pay increase.

POSITION SUMMARY:
Job candidates must have maturity and excellent typing skills and experience, should be detail oriented, and enjoy working on a team and understand team dynamics.
Attendance and reliability are of the utmost importance.
Must pass criminal background check.
Schedule: 8-hour shift
JOB DESCRIPTION:
The charging pool team is the hub of where the criminal process of what the District Attorney's Office does and begins the process of prosecution.
Works collaboratively but separately, in a non-adversarial manner, with other team employees, Assistant District Attorneys, and sometimes Judges and police officers.
Entering a criminal charge into software program from beginning to end.
Must be able to maintain confidentiality.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma required.
Bachelor’s degree a plus but not required.
Excellent typing skills.
Microsoft Word experience required.
Employment: 1 year (Required)
QUALIFICATIONS
Completed High School Education with a Diploma.
Preferred qualifications
Must be willing to undergo a background check, in accordance with local law/regulations.
Must have a valid driver's license.
