Family Law Attorney

A well-established, mid-sized law firm in Las Vegas is seeking an Attorney to join its growing practice. The firm has a strong reputation in the community and handles a steady caseload focused primarily on family law matters, including divorce, child custody, child support, and related issues, along with some estate planning work.

This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney looking to build or continue a long-term career in family law within a supportive and collaborative environment. The firm is open to candidates with direct family law experience, as well as attorneys with a strong litigation background who are interested in transitioning into this practice area.

Key Responsibilities

• Represent clients in family law matters, including divorce, custody, support, and related proceedings
• Manage cases from intake through resolution, including court appearances, motion practice, and settlement negotiations
• Draft pleadings, motions, agreements, and other legal documents
• Maintain consistent and professional communication with clients, opposing counsel, and the court
• Collaborate with attorneys and support staff to ensure efficient case management
• Handle a smaller portion of estate planning matters as needed

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school
• Licensed and in good standing with the Nevada Bar (or ability to obtain)
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in family law or related litigation
• Strong litigation skills, including courtroom exposure and motion practice
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines effectively
