Job Description

Amazon is looking for a talented Corporate Counsel to support a team building agentic shopping experiences to delight our customers. This is an exciting opportunity to partner with a team focused on building exceptional and innovative customer experiences.

You will lead and negotiate complex transactions, provide legal guidance on new feature and product development, and advise on a wide range of issues, including privacy matters. You will develop strategies for handling legal issues in creative, business-centric ways.

Key job responsibilities
- Draft and negotiate complex transaction agreements
- Advise on complex issues, including privacy and other regulatory matters
- Provide day-to-day, customer-focused advice
- Work effectively across business, department, and cross-functional stakeholders
- Support and develop strategic thinking around agentic commerce

- 5+ years of legal experience
- Juris Doctor and membership in one state bar or equivalent
- Experience in transactional and technology licensing or equivalent
- Experience with Artificial Intelligence (AI) legal matters

- Experience managing multiple projects and meeting aggressive deadlines
- Knowledge of internet, software, and media industries and the legal and regulatory environment in which they operate or equivalent
- Experience in Privacy Law
- Experience working closely with and advising senior executives of an organization or equivalent
- Experience of a mix of corporate law firm and in-house work

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
