Duties If selected for this position, you will join a well-respected team in the Victim Witness Unit responsible for the District's Victim Witness program. Typical work assignments will include: Determining program eligibility for victim and witness services. Assisting Assistant U.S. Attorneys in locating victims and assessing their ability to testify in court proceedings. Providing in-court support to victims during and prior to hearings and trials. Coordinating with Federal, state, and local law enforcement and victim service providers in establishing comprehensive assistance plans to support victims. Conducting victim assistance workshops, seminars, presentations, and meetings with law enforcement personnel, Federal investigative agency victim specialists, state and local officials, and members of community organizations. Responsibilities will increase and assignments will become more complex as your training and experience progress. Salary- $81,415 - $105,845/year
