Candidate Profile
- JD from a top-tier law school with excellent academic credentials.
- Active Bar Admission in Georgia, in good standing.
- 3–6 years of substantive experience in investment management and fund formation.
- Background in private equity funds, hedge funds, private credit funds, real estate funds, hybrid funds, and funds utilizing alternative investment strategies is required.
- Soft skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills, with an exceptional attention to detail, are essential. The ideal candidate will have an entrepreneurial spirit and work well on a team, as well as independently.
Key Responsibilities
- Represent private equity, hedge, private credit, real estate, hybrid, and other types of funds employing alternative investment strategies.
- Provide support on matters involving retail alternative funds (BDCs, interval funds, closed-end funds).
- Work closely with a collaborative, multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional legal solutions for clients.
- Contribute to the firm's expanding investment funds practice, directly interacting with clients and supporting business development.
