Duties Coordinates BOP-wide patient care, developing treatment and reentry plans for complex community designated inmates as they transition from the institution to a residential reentry center (RRC), home confinement, or other release destination. Provides social work expertise and leadership and serves as a resource person to other health services staff for a wide range of issues which may involve community treatment placement, medical hospital placement, other aftercare situations. Develops and implements BOP-wide training and orientation for inmates, BOP staff, and community stakeholders on the evidence-based practice of Medication for Opioid Use Disorder (MOUD). Identifies potential candidates for participation in MOUD an monitors treatment through medical records, required documentation, and personal contacts, to identify and resolve treatment-related issues and problems and ensures appropriate services are being delivered. Along with all other correctional institution employees, incumbent is charged with responsibility for maintaining security of the institution. The staffs correctional responsibilities precede all others required by this position and are performed on a regular and recurring basis. Salary- $88,621 - $115,213/year
