Litigation Attorney / Associate

Offit Kurman is seeking a litigation associate to join our firm.. The ideal candidate will be admitted and active to practice in DC and have at least 2 years of litigation experience. When not in court, this person would likely be headquartered out of our Bethesda or Tysons office.

This position offers a healthy mix of legal research, drafting, and courtroom advocacy. The attorney will be responsible for managing a high-volume caseload and will regularly appear in court.

Responsibilities include:

• First-chairing bench trials
• Handling hearings and other court appearances
• Drafting pleadings, motions, oppositions, briefs, and default notices
• Conducting legal research and analysis
• In court (DC) at least three times a week.

We are looking for a motivated, organized litigator who thrives in court and is eager to take ownership of cases from start to finish.
