Key Responsibilities:
• Welcome and schedule appointments for new and existing clients.
• Manage the client intake process and track potential conflicts.
• Prepare and process invoices and payments.
• Maintain and update our client and task management database as well as our referral source tracking spreadsheet.
• Handle both paper and digital filing systems, including opening and closing client files.
• Oversee office supply inventory and general office maintenance needs.
• Prepare and file deeds with coversheets, manage DocuSign transactions, and ensure smooth office operations.
• Candidates who demonstrate efficiency and accuracy will have the opportunity to take on paralegal-level responsibilities, including drafting legal documents.
Qualifications & Skills:
• Exceptional attention to detail, especially in written communication, numerical accuracy, and typing.
• Strong memory and organizational skills to track follow-up items and support attorneys in gathering required information.
• Proficiency with Mac computers, Microsoft Word, and Excel.
• Willingness and ability to learn QuickBooks Online.
• Eligibility to become a Notary Public in Virginia.
