CLS is currently searching for a service-minded, mission-driven individual to fill the following position:

Chief Growth Officer

 

OVERVIEW

We are seeking a Chief Growth Officer (CGO) to join our executive team and lead our growth initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in developing and implementing successful growth strategies that increase revenue and market share. The CGO will work collaboratively with the CEO and other key stakeholders to drive growth and profitability across all areas of the organization. We are looking for someone who is creative, data-driven, and has a strong understanding of customer behavior and market trends.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Develop and implement a growth strategy that aligns with and drives the organization’s mission and goals, with a specific focus on marketing, fund development, and strategic partnerships.
  2. Identify and build strategic partnerships with community organizations, businesses, and other stakeholders to support the organization’s growth objectives.
  3. Collaborate with, educate, and synchronize other departments, cross-functional teams, and the executive team to support and ensure the successful execution of growth initiatives, setting revenue targets, and implementing strategies to achieve them.
  4. Collaborate with the Grants team to review and develop funding strategies, coordinating fundraising opportunities.
  5. Collaborate with pro bono development and volunteer management teams to review, develop and synchronize volunteer resource strategies and seek to convert volunteers to donors and donors to volunteers.
  6. Oversee and enhance fundraising campaigns, including major gifts, annual giving, and planned giving.
  7. Plan and execute events to engage donors and raise funds.
  8. Identify and cultivate new funding opportunities, partnerships, and donor relationships to diversify revenue streams.
  9. Use data and analytics to assess the effectiveness of growth initiatives in marketing, fund development, and strategic partnerships, making data-driven decisions.
  10. Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for revenue, marketing efforts, and resource development to assess the impact and success of strategies.
  11. Monitor and analyze financial performance, making data-driven decisions to optimize revenue growth.
  12. Continuously evaluate and adapt growth and marketing plans to meet changing needs and trends.
  13. Provide regular reports and updates to the executive leadership team, CEO, and board of directors on progress and outcomes related to growth initiatives, with a specific focus on marketing, fund development, strategic partnerships, and grants.
  14. Serve as a key member of the executive team, contributing to the overall direction and strategy of the organization.
  15. Identify new market opportunities and lead efforts to enter new markets.
  16. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to identify new growth opportunities.
  17. Drive innovation across the organization to ensure long-term growth and competitiveness.
  18. Other duties as assigned or as identified in contract SOW.

 

REQUIREMENTS

2. Background and Experience

 

  1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field
  2. Proven track record of driving revenue growth and market share expansion in a similar role
  3. Strong leadership skills and experience managing high-performing teams
  4. Excellent analytical and strategic thinking skills
  5. Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to achieve common goals
  6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  7. Experience in developing and implementing growth strategies in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  8. Deep understanding of customer behavior and market trends
  9. Ability to identify and capitalize on new market opportunities
  10. Experience in managing budgets and resources effectively
  11. Must be computer literate using Microsoft Office Suite.
  12. Valid Florida automobile license, use of own auto, and proof of insurance necessary.
  13. Must be able to travel to the offices within 12 county service areas and sometimes outside of service area.

 

3Physical Requirements

 

  1. Prolonged periods sitting at a desk, driving, and working on a computer.
  2. Must be able to lift to 25 pounds at times.
