Job Summary

Responsible for providing, under general supervision, professional support services to attorneys in the form of preparing legal and business communications and performing administrative work. Completes specifically assigned projects with the supervision of applicable attorneys. Works with moderate guidance in own area of knowledge.

Job Description

Core Responsibilities

  • Tracks and maintains files and assists in preparation and filing of reports for legal management.
  • Manages calendars and scheduling requests; coordinates and maintains appointments and meetings; books conference rooms.
  • Schedules recuring meetings and sets reminders for deadlines (including employee reviews, CLE requirements, etc).
  • Monitor industry and company relevant notices and events (e.g., HQ announcements, investor calls).
  • Processes travel & expenses reporting and reimbursement requests.
  • Assists with processing and managing tech support and service requests; monitors equipment (updates, replacements).
  • Provides general administrative support for document management and filing.
  • Organizes, maintains, tracks and handles incoming and outgoing legal correspondence.
  • Provides guidance with Company's legal submission process.
  • Answers and screens phone calls.
  • Types, edits and proofs legal documents.
  • Books travel arrangements/reservations.
  • Participates as team member in weekly meetings, team building events.
  • Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
