We’re hiring an Accounting Assistant who will be responsible for administrative accounting functions and filling in for other employees/sections when short-staffed.
Role and Responsibilities:

Final review/audit of AP check-run w backup docs after printed - before releasing checks

Weekly Review of AP entries/coding for data integrity

Daily Operating Deposits
-
Ensure Trust account is in compliance with proper guidelines - 3-way match

Create/Approve weekly Operating Check Run List

Upload Media Audit invoices from media buyers monthly
-
Daily Bank Sweeps - CLOC, Operating, SFA, Trust Repo etc
-
Monthly Bank Transactions: Analysis Fees, Interest, etc

Scanning, filing, re-naming, & saving backup to the appropriate vendor files in the system

Help out other accounting sections as needed

Learning all the positions and being backup for everyone in the acctg dept when staff is out of office/PTO, etc.

- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting is preferred, though equivalent experience in a high-volume accounting environment may be considered in place of a degree.

2+ years of Accounting/Finance experience.

Considered an intermediate skill level in Microsoft Excel, including a working knowledge of functions such as VLOOKUP and PivotTables.

Demonstrates exceptional attention to detail and accuracy when handling financial data and confidential information.

Excels at managing multiple priorities, meeting daily deadlines, and staying organized in a fast-paced environment.

Takes initiative, is eager to learn, and approaches new responsibilities with a positive, solution-oriented mindset.

Maintains confidentiality, demonstrates dependability, and consistently produces accurate, high-quality work.

Proficiency with office software, including Outlook, Excel, and Foxit PDF.

Proficiency with 10-key (adding calculator).
