Banking and Financial Services Attorney

About the Job:
Client is seeking a senior associate attorney with over 5 years of experience in the representation of banks and institutional lenders. The ideal candidate will have significant expertise in structuring, negotiating, and documenting complex commercial lending transactions, including commercial and industrial loans, commercial real estate, asset-based lending, and other financing transactions. This position requires the ability to manage multiple matters/issues simultaneously, with a focus on both strategic thinking and attention to detail. The successful candidate will possess superior academic credentials and must be admitted to practice in New York.

Responsibilities:

• Represent banks and institutional lenders in complex commercial lending transactions
• Structure, negotiate, and document commercial and industrial loans, real estate transactions, and asset-based lending
• Handle multiple matters and issues efficiently and effectively
• Provide strategic guidance on legal aspects of commercial financing

Requirements:

• 5+ years of relevant experience in banking and financial services law
• Strong background in structuring, negotiating, and documenting complex commercial lending transactions
• Superior academic credentials
• Admitted to practice in New York
