Job Description
The Division of Enforcement investigates possible violations of securities laws, recommends Commission action when appropriate, either in a federal court or before an administrative law judge, and negotiates settlements. The successful candidate will be expected to serve as the primary communications adviser to the Director and Deputy Director (the "Office of the Director").

Typical duties include: Drafting speeches, talking points, and other public statements for the Director and Deputy Director. Serving as the Division's liaison to the SEC's Office of Public Affairs (OPA) to coordinate communication with the press, including reviewing and editing press releases for Enforcement actions and working with Enforcement staff and OPA on issuing them, preparing responses to press inquiries, preparing and staffing the Director and Deputy Director for interactions with the press, and managing the Division's social media presence. Updating and disseminating general messaging documents (e.g., talking points) Division-wide. Serving as the Division's liaison to the Office of Investor Education and Advocacy (OIEA) to increase direct engagement with investors and coordinate outreach efforts with Regional Office counterparts. Coordinating the approval process and logistics for the Director and Deputy Director's speaking engagements. Providing the Office of the Director with high level assistance on priority matters, including novel or complex assignments that have been given high priority by the Office of the Director or the Commission, as needed. Salary- $156,900 - $284,600/year
