This Associate Attorney position may be based in any of the following Colorado offices. We are open to placing the right candidate in the office that best aligns with their location and the firm's needs.

As an Associate Attorney, you'll step into the action on demanding domestic relations matters-where clear judgment, quick pivots, and confident courtroom presence change outcomes. Criminal law experience is a significant plus.
You will drive cases forward from initial evaluation through resolution while working closely with an experienced paralegal to manage filings, deadlines, client communication, discovery, and case preparation. Together, you will safeguard client trust while keeping every deadline, filing, and detail locked down.
Core responsibilities:
- Represent clients in domestic relations proceedings
- Prepare pleadings, motions, discovery requests and responses, correspondence, and other legal documents
- Conduct legal research and develop case strategies
- Communicate professionally with clients, opposing counsel, court staff, and other parties
- Attend hearings, conferences, mediations, depositions, and other court-related proceedings
- Manage case deadlines, filings, and documentation
- Assist with discovery, trial preparation, negotiations, and settlement discussions
- Maintain a high level of professionalism, confidentiality, and ethical conduct
- Work collaboratively with attorneys, paralegals, and staff to provide excellent client representation
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor from an accredited law school; minimum 2 years of experience practicing law
- Active Colorado law license in good standing
- Extensive domestic relations experience; criminal law experience a huge plus
- Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and client service skills
- Professional, organized, detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines
- Comfortable appearing in court and interacting with clients
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Preferred experience with Westlaw, Filevine, and Microsoft Office

This position may be performed remotely (within the state of Colorado), in a hybrid arrangement, or on-site, depending on the needs of the firm, clients, and assigned cases. The role offers flexibility; however, during the first 90 days of employment, the Associate Attorney is expected to be in the office as much as possible for onboarding, training, and team integration. The typical workday is Monday - Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM.

Salary- $120,000 - $150,000/year
