Job Description
The United States Attorney's Office for the District of Columbia is distinct among United States Attorney's Offices due to the breadth and scale of its work. It acts as both the local and the federal prosecutor for the nation's capital. Duties If selected for this position, you will join a well-respected team that is responsible for managing day-to-day activities in the Superior Court Division, General Crimes Section. Typical work assignments will include: - Works closely with management staff to ensure goals, objectives, procedures, and methodology is communicated to the team. - Reviews legal documents for accuracy and ensure deadlines are adhered to. - Organizes work and projects, and distributes and balances workload among subordinates in accordance with established work flow and/or skill level. - Acts as liaison for team in obtaining resources, information, and decisions from supervisors and/or managers. - Coaches the team in coordinating team initiative, consensus building activities, and assessing strengths and weaknesses. - Articulates and communicates problems to be solved, and program issues under review, and deadlines and time frames for completing the assigned work. Responsibilities will increase and assignments will become more complex as your training and experience progress. As needed, additional positions may be filled using this announcement. Salary- $101,401 - $131,826/year
