
JOB SUMMARY
This is a PRN role (indefinite duration), working 5-20 hours per week. (This is not a summer internship.)
Responsibilities
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist with the tracking and implementation of new laws and regulations
- Working with outside counsel to help manage litigation and government investigations
- Legal research
- Work with Operations and Compliance to help mitigate legal risk
- Other projects as assigned

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Must be detail oriented and possess excellent follow up skills
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Must be organized and work well with constant priority changes
- Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
Include minimum education, technical training, and/or experience preferred to perform the job.
- Pursuing a law degree (2nd year or 3rd year preferred)
- Prefer experience with a law firm or in-house legal department
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Word, Excel and PowerPoint
