Commercial Real Estate Paralegal

Akerman LLP is seeking a Commercial Real Estate Paralegal (5+ years) with strong title, survey, and closings experience supporting homebuilders and developers. This role is ideal for someone who thrives managing high-volume transactions and taking ownership of deals from contract through closing.

Responsibilities

1. Manage commercial land acquisition and disposition transactions
2. Review title commitments, exceptions, surveys, and legal descriptions
3. Prepare closing documents, binders, and trackers
4. Coordinate closings, funding, and document execution
5. Track deadlines and manage multiple active deals

Qualifications

5+ years real estate paralegal experience (law firm required)

1. Hands-on closings experience for developers/homebuilders strongly preferred
2. Strong knowledge of title/survey review and contract administration
3. Experience managing multiple transactions independently
4. Proficient in MS Office and iManage or similar systems
