Old Republic National Title Insurance Company, headquartered in Tampa and one of the nation’s largest title insurers, has an excellent opportunity available for an Administrative Assistant in our Corporate Legal- Rates Administration Department. This position will report to Corporate Legal in Tampa, Florida, and will provide essential support to attorneys, management and other personnel, with a focus on rates and forms administration. This is a hybrid position (3 days in office) based out of our Tampa, FL office location.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Manage and prioritize requests submitted to the Rates Administration Department through various communication channels.
Organize and maintain department communications, including email correspondence and related documentation, to ensure timely follow-up and easy retrieval.
Respond to inquiries from internal staff and external agents regarding forms, rates, and filings.
Support nationwide filing of forms and rates for title insurance products by assisting team members with preparation and submission tasks.
Assist in maintaining the forms library and rate manuals, ensuring documents are organized, accurate, and accessible.
Provide administrative support to Corporate Legal on an as-needed basis on legal and corporate projects, as well as other tasks as delegated by the manager.
REQUIREMENTS
Experience in an office/professional setting is preferred.
Exposure to title insurance, rates, or related filing processes preferred; experience with SERFF or similar systems in other insurance lines is a bonus.
Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
Excellent organizational skills with ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
Ability to work under supervision and adapt to changing environments.
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other standard business software (such as Adobe Acrobat, SharePoint, and SmartSheet), as well as ability to learn new systems quickly.
Eagerness to learn and grow within the role and adapt to new responsibilities.
Professionalism, discretion, flexibility, and receptiveness to guidance.
Flexible, collaborative, and capable of working independently.
Willingness to travel occasionally.
