The Los Angeles office of Barnes & Thornburg LLP is seeking a Labor and Employment Associate to join its team.
Job Requirements:
Experience representing employers in employment litigation matters
Experience handling single-plaintiff employment litigation, wage and hour matters, and employment class actions
Exposure to employment counseling and advice work (preferred)
Familiarity with traditional labor matters, including arbitrations, labor negotiations, union avoidance campaigns, and NLRB proceedings (a plus)
Proficient in all phases of litigation, including discovery, depositions, motion drafting, court appearances, and trial preparation
Outstanding writing, research, and analytical skills
Strong academic credentials
Ideal Candidates Will:
Have 1–3 years of experience representing employers in labor and employment matters
Be highly motivated to join an active national Labor and Employment practice
Demonstrate initiative and readiness to assume responsibility for client matters
Possess strong interpersonal skills and thrive in a large, collaborative team environment
Be admitted to the California Bar (required)

Salary- $215,000 - $250,000
