STgenetics is seeking a Patent Attorney with 2-6 years of experience and strong academic credentials. Candidates must be admitted to the USPTO and have experience with drafting and prosecuting patent applications in the electrical, electro-mechanical, software, or medical device fields. Additionally, candidates should be motivated self-starters with excellent communication and writing skills and an ability to collaborate across multiple internal groups.
 
Essential Functions
 
  • Draft and prosecute US patent applications
  • Coordinate responses to foreign office action
 
Education
  • Juris Doctor (JD)
  • Engineering or advanced Science degree required, Electrical or Biomedical Engineering degrees preferred
 
Experience
  • 2-6 years of patent prosecution experience
 
Other Requirements
  • Ability to quickly grasp new concepts in electrical, electro-mechanical, and software engineering disciplines
  • All candidates should be admitted to practice before the USPTO
  • Strong work ethic
  • Superb writing and organizational skills
  • Willingness to work in the office
  • Ability to balance multiple priorities
