Rasor Law Firm is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Litigation/Trial Paralegal to join our dynamic legal team. In this pivotal role, you will support our attorneys throughout the litigation process, with an emphasis on discovery and trial work.

As a Litigation/Trial Paralegal at Rasor Law Firm, you will be part of a team that is committed to advocating for clients and achieving favorable outcomes in complex legal matters. We are known for our tough and relentless representation of plaintiffs in both personal injury and employment litigation, and we are looking for someone who shares our passion and dedication.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the preparation of discovery, answering incoming discovery, trial documents, including exhibits, witness lists, and trial briefs.
  • Manage case files, ensuring all outgoing and incoming discovery is complete and meticulous, filing motions (after approval from attorneys) to compel the defendant's cooperation and compliance with discovery rules.
  • Initiate appropriate case-specific discovery, including coordinating and scheduling depositions of appropriate witnesses and experts.
  • Communicate with clients, witnesses, and expert witnesses to gather information and provide updates.
  • Assist attorneys during trial by organizing documents and evidence.


Requirements
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Paralegal Studies or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience as a paralegal in a litigation setting.
  • Strong knowledge of litigation processes and court rules.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in legal research tools and case management software like Clio.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Certification from a recognized paralegal organization is a plus.

This is a full-time salaried position. The first 90 days are probationary; after that, you'll receive increases in compensation by merit, paid time off and sick leave, and excellent medical, dental, and vision coverage.
