Duties This temporary promotion may be extended up to a total of 5 years or made permanent without further competition If selected for this position, you will join a well-respected team that is responsible for enforcing Federal Criminal and Civil laws that protect life, liberty and the property of citizens. Typical work assignments will include: Establishing goals, objectives and procedures for staff and recommending formal promotions, awards and other personnel actions including disciplinary actions to resolve issues. Evaluating work performance of subordinates. Interviewing and selecting candidates for position(s). Assisting with litigation of cases by performing specialized legal research and writing and providing technical assistance in the management of incoming and ongoing documents. Preparing cases or testimony for court or administrative proceedings. Reviewing reports, documents, records, data, or other materials to verify completeness, correctness, consistency, compliance or authenticity Responsibilities will increase and assignments will become more complex as your training and experience progress. Salary- $120,348 - $156,455/year
