Compensation: $90,000 annually + full BLF benefits

About the Role

Beal Law Firm (BLF), a trusted and established Family Law firm with over 33 years serving the DFW metroplex, is seeking a skilled Associate Attorney with a minimum of 2 years of Texas Family Law experience. This position is ideal for an attorney who wants to grow in a professional, supportive environment with strong systems, well-developed processes, and the opportunity to work directly with senior attorneys — including a Board Certified Family Law Specialist.

This is an in-office, full-time position, designed for attorneys who value collaboration, mentorship, and consistent professional development.

Key Responsibilities

• Help in the management of divorce, custody, support, modification, and enforcement matters.
• Conduct and assist in client meetings, hearings, mediations, and trial preparation.
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, settlement documents, and correspondence.
• Communicate with clients consistently and professionally.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys and staff to move cases efficiently.
• Maintain accurate and timely records in the firm’s case management systems.
• Meet billable target of 27 hours per week, with an expectation of a minimum 40-hour in-office workweek to support collaboration, training, and consistency.
  
  

Qualifications

• Licensed to practice law in Texas (active and in good standing).
• Minimum 2 years of Texas Family Law experience required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to handle deadlines, manage multiple cases, and work independently with support available when needed.
• Professional demeanor and commitment to client-centered representation.
• Courtroom experience preferred.
