
Estate and Trust Paralegal

Offit Kurman, a full-service Am Law 200 firm, is seeking an experienced Estate and Trust Paralegal to join our growing team in Philadelphia. This role offers the opportunity to work alongside attorneys in a collaborative environment, supporting sophisticated estate administration matters across a diverse client base.
Responsibilities
- Manage all phases of estate and trust administration, including probate filings, asset collection, accountings, and distributions.
- Prepare and file documents in compliance with Pennsylvania probate procedures and Orphans’ Court Rules.
- Assist with the preparation of fiduciary income tax returns and federal/state estate tax returns.
- Maintain and organize client files, deadlines, and workflow to ensure timely case progression.
- Communicate with clients, beneficiaries, courts, and financial institutions with professionalism and discretion.
- Draft correspondence, inventories, and other estate/trust documents as needed.
Qualifications
- 6+ years of estate and trust administration experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Pennsylvania probate procedures and Orphans’ Court Rules.
- Familiarity with fiduciary income tax and estate tax processes.
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite and estate administration software (e.g., Lackner or similar).
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
We will require a person to start in the office daily. After a trial period of 90 days, a hybrid schedule may be discussed.
