Practice Area: West Coast Complex Commercial Litigation

Location: Newport Beach, CA 92660

Schedule: Onsite 3+ days per week. Full-time associate role with (Level 4). California Bar membership required.

Salary: As per state law, the salary listed is $365,000 to $390,00 per year. Actual offer will be commensurate of litigation experience and ability to run cases independently and lead associates.

This role is available due to sustained client growth and an expanding caseload in high-stakes commercial disputes. Description:

This is a high-impact role designed for a mid-to-senior level litigation associate ready to take on greater autonomy and visibility. You will be entrusted with handling complex commercial matters from inception to resolution. Daily responsibilities include managing discovery workflows, conducting and defending depositions, drafting dispositive motions, and interfacing directly with clients and opposing counsel. The position offers a robust pipeline of sophisticated litigation work, mentorship from experienced trial lawyers, and opportunities for trial team participation and strategic development. This is an ideal environment for associates ready to step into leadership roles within cases and the firm.

Qualifications:

• 5–6 years’ experience in commercial litigation practice
• Trial experience, preferably 2nd or 1st chair through deposition and trial
• Mediation and/or Arbitration experience would be a plus.
• Extensive familiarity with complex dispute resolution and federal/state litigation processes
• Demonstrated experience managing e-discovery and document-intensive cases
• Skilled in deposition strategy and execution
• Excellent brief writing and legal research ability
• Detail-oriented with a strategic mindset and client-service orientation
• Strong academic credentials and a record of performance in high-caliber legal environments
