State Compensation Insurance Fund’s Legal Department is seeking a motivated Attorney to join our exceptional team. At State Fund, we represent insured employers and various California State Agencies and handle challenging workers' compensation-related issues. As an Attorney with us, you’ll have the opportunity to make a real impact by defending, litigating, and resolving workers’ compensation cases. You’ll be at the forefront of depositions, administrative hearings, and court appearances - ensuring justice is served to our clients.

Location:

State Fund is hiring an attorney to appear at the Workers’ Compensation Appeals Board in San Jose (Santa Clara County) and Salinas (Monterey County), but may also be assigned to appear at any WCAB district office throughout California.

This position offers the flexibility of remote work. However, we are seeking a candidate who may need to complete assigned tasks/work and appear at the Workers' Compensation Appeals Boards in Santa Clara County or Monterey County. Reimbursement for local travel will be provided within the allowable mile radius.

• Drafting compelling pleadings, correspondence and communications

• $7,737 - $11,676/month
