
The Corporate Attorney will serve as legal counsel for ProAct regarding all legal matters related to the PBM industry to include subsidiary pharmacy services. This position will play a pivotal role in the drafting and review of all legal documents with external clients and solution providers. The Corporate Attorney will be responsible for advising ProAct’s leadership team and business units on legal matters impacting ProAct’s business operations and clients.
- Provide legal support to internal business partners supporting PBM clients
- Draft, review and redline a wide variety of contracts and supporting documents with ProAct clients and their counsel to include, but not limited to PBM Services Agreements, Non-Disclosure Agreements and Business Associate Agreements
- Draft and/or review service agreements with ProAct solution providers.
- Collaborate with ProAct’s Regulatory and Compliance team around state and federal matters regarding the PBM industry
- Collaborate cross functionally with members of ProAct’s leadership team to advise on new business offerings, identifying legal or regulatory challenges and present effective solutions.
- Collaborate with in-house counsel of parent organization and external counsel as appropriate to support ProAct legal matters
- Partner with industry associations and advise ProAct on the evolving PBM landscape
- Assist as needed with PBM and pharmacy licensing
- Address any HIPAA and state privacy related issues or concerns as they arise
- Respond to other legal concerns from regulatory agencies and other third parties
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the overall objectives of ProAct and affiliate companies
Education and Experience
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) Degree from accredited law school
- Admission to at least one state bar
- 3-5 years relevant contracting experience required
- 2-4 years of Healthcare or PBM experience preferred
Compensation:
$115,000 - 135,000 per year.
The final offer will be determined after careful consideration of multiple factors such as relevant skills, years of experience and education.
