We are currently seeking a passionate and experienced Case Manager to join our Pre-Litigation Team and contribute to our firm's continued growth and success.
Your Role
As the Case Manager at J&Y Law Firm, you will be an essential member of the Pre-Litigation Team, advocating for clients and managing the coordination of their claims. You will work closely with health care providers, insurance adjusters, and the legal team to ensure that each client’s case is thoroughly prepared, and that their needs are addressed promptly and compassionately. Key responsibilities include:
• Client Advocacy & Communication: Serve as the main point of contact for clients, ensuring timely updates on their cases, regular check-ins, and providing empathetic support throughout the claims process.
• Case Management: Manage case documentation, obtain missing information, review police and medical reports, and ensure all necessary steps are taken to move cases forward efficiently.
• Treatment Coordination: Ensure clients receive the necessary medical treatment and track their progress, working in tandem with the legal team to build case value.
• Liaison with External Providers: Communicate regularly with medical providers, adjusters, and other third parties to resolve issues, track medical bills, and maintain up-to-date claim records.
• Claim Process & Documentation: Draft and organize key case documents, manage file updates, and maintain thorough, accurate records in the case management system.
• Property Damage & Financial Assistance: Assist clients with property damage claims, rental assistance, and loss of use claims.
• Problem-Solving & Consultations: Address client inquiries regarding claims, assist with loss wage claims, and provide solutions to any challenges during the claims process.
• Negotiation Assistance: Assist attorneys with case negotiation and settlement under their guidance, as needed.
• Client Experience & Satisfaction: Ensure high levels of client satisfaction by maintaining clear communication and offering exceptional customer service.
Who We’re Looking For
The ideal candidate will have:
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in case management, preferably within a law firm or legal setting.
• Strong customer service skills, including the ability to empathize and resolve problems effectively.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• A solid understanding of insurance benefits, medical treatment processes, and case management systems.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and case management software (experience with Litify is a plus).
• A high level of professionalism, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and within a team environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work with a high degree of empathy, compassion, and professionalism towards clients.

Compensation: $30.00 - $45.00 per hour
