
Job Description
WhitbeckBeglis, PLLC is a national family law firm with a focus on domestic law including divorce, child custody, spousal support, education law, and mental health law.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct legal research and complete discovery.
- Drafts legal documents including routine pleadings, files pleadings according to judicial procedures.
- Prepares, organizes, stores, and retrieves case files, which may include evidence, exhibits, depositions, pleadings, exhibits, and other items.
- Assists attorneys with trial preparation.
- Develops and maintains records regarding billable hours spent on specific cases.
- Communicate and obtain information, following up on delegated assignments.
- Ability to effectively communicate with clients, court personnel, opposing counsel, experts, etc.
- Consistent follow-up and ability to multi-task and effectively priorities and meet tight deadlines.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
