Education and/or Experience 
  • A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university is preferred.
  • A high school diploma is required.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of relevant work experience required.
  • Corporate paralegal, contracts, or similar experience preferred.
  • iManage experience a plus.

  • The highest degree of personal integrity, judgment, and professional ethics.
  • Diplomatic assertiveness in pushing for ownership’s objectives and influencing others (both subordinates and superiors, and business partners) to make definitive decisions to the benefit of the project(s) and MI’s interests.
  • Ability to learn and excel with various software programs and document management systems.
  • Ability to negotiate and interpret the intent of contract documents and mediate disputes as needed. 
  • Ability to compose business letters, expositions, summaries, and reports, using the proper format, punctuation, grammar, diction, and style, and speaking before an audience with confidence, using appropriate communication skills/style. 
  • Self-initiating with organizational ability to work independently on various tasks with minimal oversight while maintaining excellent time management skills and adhering to deadlines.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to interact with employees, clients, consultants, and partners with poise and diplomacy.
  • Ability to leverage technology to perform job functions at the highest level.
  • Ability to maintain attention to detail and to produce high-quality work under directions given. 
  • Ability to maintain confidential and/or proprietary information.
  • Ability to maintain a professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Consistent dependability in terms of attendance and promptness.
 
 
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Manage McNair Interests' corporate documents, including federal and state filings, organizational charts, resolutions, consents, etc.
  • Organize and manage various corporate, investment, and real estate projects.
  • Work closely with internal and external legal counsel on various legal issues.
  • Work with other departments by coordinating meetings, locating files, providing requested documentation, etc.
  • Assist in the drafting and revising of various documents, including proofreading work for accuracy.
