About the Role

The Manager of Technology Client Services is an integral part of Latham’s Technology & Information Services and Legal Innovation team. This role will be responsible for leading the execution of the firm’s client-facing technology strategy in alignment with the Associate Director of AI - Legal Innovation as well as assisting in developing the firm’s client-facing technology narrative and value proposition. This role will be located in our New York office. Please note that this role may be eligible for a flexible working schedule that allows for a hybrid and in-office presence.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

Other key responsibilities include:

  • Delivering senior-level messaging to clients and prospective clients regarding the firm’s AI and legal innovation initiatives
  • Partnering with Business Development and lead partners to identify opportunities to differentiate the firm’s AI and innovation initiatives in the market
  • Directly supervising Technology Client Services Attorneys and Consultants
  • Serving as a member of the AI & Legal Innovation management team
  • Overseeing maintenance of the legal technology software catalog used for pitches and client inquiries
  • Protecting and maintaining any highly sensitive, confidential, privileged, financial, and/or proprietary information that Latham & Watkins retains 

We’d love to hear from you if you:

  • Possess excellent writing skills, including the ability to explain technical systems and concepts in plain language
  • Demonstrate excellent operational skills (e.g., organizing, planning, problem-solving, and decision-making)
  • Exhibit well-developed and professional interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with people at all organizational levels of the firm

And have:

  • A bachelor’s degree or equivalent, preferably a J.D. or equivalent
  • A minimum of eight (8) years of relevant experience
  • Prior supervisory or team leadership experience
  • Law firm or professional services experience, preferably
  • Experience in legal technology, AI, or innovation environments, preferably

Pay Range
USD $210,000.00 - USD $260,000.00 /Yr.
