A well-established and leading law firm specializing in the representation of homeowner, condominium, and community associations is seeking a full-time Associate Attorney with 2-3 years of experience, for our Lincolnshire, IL office. Qualified candidates must be licensed in Illinois and possess landlord-tenant experience. The ideal candidate must have strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills (written and verbal). Must be able to efficiently manage multiple projects and exercise good judgment in dealing with highly confidential matters.
The starting annual salary is $90,000, contingent upon level of experience. Business hours for this exempt position are 9:00am to 5:00pm, Monday through Friday. There is flexibility to transition to a hybrid role after an initial in office training period.

We are currently located in Mundelein but will be moving to a new office in Lincolnshire at the end of January 2025.
Duties/Responsibilities:
· Prepare a variety of legal documents, including leases, addenda, termination notices, settlement agreements, violation notices, demand letters, responses to tenant and attorney claims, and contract riders.
· Provide timely and well-reasoned responses to client inquiries, offering professional legal opinions.
· Address inquiries and manage pre-litigation claims related to fair housing and discrimination matters.
· Oversee the legal defense of clients facing formal discrimination complaints.
Competencies:
· 2-3 years of relative landlord-tenant experience.
· Must be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite programs.
· Ability to learn specialized software of the firm.
· Detail oriented with strong organizational and prioritization skills.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
· Must be comfortable working independently yet be a team player.
· Able to manage a heavy and varied workload.
· High level of initiative and self-motivation.
· Willingness to strive for the highest quality and client service possible.
License/Certification:
· Illinois Bar license required.
