- You will serve as a Paralegal Specialist in the Office of General Counsel (N00GC) of the U.S. Fleet Cyber Command.
- You will perform in-depth research and analysis on matters across the legal practice portfolio such as national security and intelligence law, administrative law, civilian personnel law, federal ethics and standards of conduct etc.
- You will serve as the administrative program manager for the Ethics Program, which includes monitoring activities related to Office of Government Ethics (OGE) 450/278 filers.
- You will serve as the administrative program manager for Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) Program managing the lifecycle of FOIA requests, communicating with requestors to confirm receipt of and clarify requests, and preparing draft responses.
- You will perform comprehensive research of government policies, federal regulations, legal texts, case law, and state and federal statutes commensurate with the complexity of the problem or issue.
- You will serve as the administrative program manager for the Privacy Program by managing the lifecycle of Privacy Act requests and preparing documents in connection with Privacy Act litigation.
- You will conduct research and identify applicable federal, Department of Defense (DoD), and DON authorities pertaining to privacy, and interpret their application to Fleet Cyber Command’s Privacy Program.
- Must be a US Citizen.

- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- MSP/PPP applicants must currently hold the required security clearance.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
- You must successfully complete a Counterintelligence (CI) polygraph with No Deception Indicated (NDI).
Applicant must have directly applicable experience that demonstrates the possession of knowledge, skills, abilities, and competencies necessary for immediate success in the position. Qualifying experience may have been acquired in any public or private sector job, but will clearly demonstrate past experience in the application of the particular competencies or knowledge, skills and abilities necessary to successfully perform the duties of the position. Such experience is typically in or directly related to the work of the position to be filled. Qualifying experience would be demonstrated by:
-Experience in assisting or working in one or more of the following fields: national security, intelligence, cyber operations, administrative law, civilian personnel law, federal fiscal and acquisitions, federal ethics and standards of conduct, and/or federal compliance and oversight.
-Experience researching government policies, federal regulations, case law, and state and federal statutes to assist with legal document preparation.
-Experience administering and overseeing a federal compliance program such as intelligence oversight, FISMA, FISA, Privacy, and Ethics or similar programs.
-Experience drafting various document types that address or resolve complex matters of law or policy based upon a thorough analysis of the facts and relevant authorities.
-Experience with maintaining detailed records and documentation for the management of multiple programs to ensure meeting deadlines.
